You make me BLUSH!!

It took me years to find that perfect shade of blush to wear without looking like.....those women we all know. Little did I know it is super easy if you have the right tools and education on getting it just right! Your skin tone is your guide for selecting the perfect shade and color!
If your skin has cool undertones, stick with mauves and cool pinks. This is to avoid having creamy skin with cheeks that look like grandma kissed you before you left the house! This is MAC Powder Blush in Dame.
If your skin has warm undertones, choose more earth toned colors.  Look for hints of orange in the color, this will complement your warm tone skin the best! This is my personal favorite blush, I do not leave the house without it on! It's a cream blush that literally stays on all day called FreshMelon by Bobbi Brown.
If your skin has neutral undertones, choose colors like rose, coral and sandalwood to bring out your rosy cheeks. These colors will bring out your features and show off your strong feminine features! This specific blush has the perfect pallet to let you look camera ready anytime, its Lancome Desert Rose blush in Island Horizon.

Fresh & Clean

The flu is no joke this season! It's hit like drama queen with a grudge, and getting in its way can leave you in bed for a few days. No fun. We know that washing your hands and sanitizing your work space can be great ways to protect yourself against the nasty bug. But I found a great juice to help boost your immune system and flush out the toxins that are building up inside of you.

Ingredients:

-1 apple with peeling, cored (to wash toxins out of your body)
- 1 cup of kale (chlorophyll kick starts your digestive tract, removing pesticides and environmental toxins)
- 1 stalk of celery (blood cleanser)
- 1/3 cup parsley or cilantro (rids the body of mercury)
- 1tbsp group flax seeds or chia seeds (omega-3s)
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 1/4 cups chilled water

Blend or juice until smooth and serve over ice!
Now your on your way to a happy and healthy winter season. =)

Va Va Volume

Most people love to part their hair to a specific side, and they will usually keep it that way for an extended period of time. Unfortunately, it is weakening the hair on the opposite side. When you flip your hair constantly, you are actually pulling the hair and causing breakage. You need to keep your hair strong and well nourished. We want to look full all around!

When following these steps, make sure to give that specific side a little extra love so the opposite side that you flip will look voluminous and full just like the other side!

Perfect Winter Nails

I love the feeling of having my nails freshly manicured, but it could get a bit on the pricey side. I think the problem are those dry cuticles, especially in the winter time. The more dry the air gets the most dry your hands and cuticles get. When you go to the nail salon to fix this problem, they soak your hands then clip your cuticles with a cuticle cutter...BAD IDEA! This is the main cause of those nasty hang nails that you could get tempted to pick at. The best treatment for your hands is a cuticle remover, they condition the area and strengthen the nail.
This is the best product that I have used to keep my colorful hands looking great all year around! Essie's cuticle remover is only $8 too! After removing your old polish, buffering, and filing down to the perfect shape, apply the product to your cuticles and let it sit for a minute or two. Afterwards, massage it a little just to let it penetrate enough and remove your unwanted cuticle with a pusher, NOT cutters! Wash your hands after and rock your next color.

This is my favorite nail look right now! I love how clean, yet  bold it is, and it can go with any occassion. Mix and match any colors you want to bring out colors in your outfit or to just make a statement.

First Date...!

First Dates are nerve racking, but FUN! It's a chance to meet someone new and maybe even potentially start something amazing. The hardest part is not whether your kiss will have them wrapped around your finger (we know you're a pro already), but getting dressed to perfection. That's the thing, you don't need to look perfect, you need to stay true to you. The more natural you look, the better.
This is a casual, yet formal look. You really can't go wrong with fitted jeans and a flowy shirt. Classic! Keep in mind, if you're going to wear heels, make sure they are ones that you are confident in and that are not new. The last thing you want is to trip or walk in like a mannequin.
I have worn this on not only a first date but also to meet the parents, and it is a hit no matter what we're doing! It shows the person that you're down to earth and that you're flexible with whatever they have planned.

This is my favorite date night look. It's simple, flattering and you can add your own twist with accessories or a fun bun. I would add a colorful purse or clutch to show off my adventurous side

Cool/Pale Toned Skin

Be proud of your creamy skin tone in the bedroom, and in order to do that you need to flaunt it! Red, of course, is very va va voom, and you can rock it the best. Be careful though, if your a classic red-head, don't down play your sexy, fiery hair color with a red bedroom piece. Purple will enhance your beautiful hair as well as brunettes.

Black in the Bedroom!

For the next few days I will be posting about the colors you SHOULD be wearing in the bedroom. If you

White is a very pure, innocent color so I usually advise people to stay away from it. But that just means you can have more fun with colors and patterns! Spicing things up in the bedroom could be fun for the both of you, and it doesn't have to seem like its just for him/her. The obvious favorite color in the bedroom is BLACK, its sexy, its mysterious and it shows your significant other that you have a bad girl side. A good look that usually gets a good reaction is one where your covered up, but showing (you need to leave something for the imagination). Most women are self conscience of their bellies and are not comfortable showing it off, so this is a perfect way to cover it up, but still have the same look. Just remember, "its not only about what you wear, its about your confidence and how you hold yourself, don't be afraid to laugh in the bedroom"

This color will look great on any skin color, you can even add a pop of color to it. Lets say you want to go for a sexy professional look, you can do that look
on the top but use a purple bra instead. Have
fun with it!

Tomorrow, I will cover Red and Purple!
